of same. all available from http://www.storytellingstore.com
3) A good place to start is with a book of stories called Joining
In, compiled by Teresa Miller,Yellow Moon PRess, 1988.
Of course, you can make any traditional tale (3
Little Pigs, Gingerbread Man, Billy Goats Gruff) more participatory
than it already is. The kids will join you with any encouragement.
Just be careful - there's an old storyteller's truth - for more
audience participation than you can possibly use just ask : Does
anybody have a dog?
4) Another good book with stories for preschool and kindergarten
is Multicultural Folktales by Judy
Sierra and Robert Kaminski.
