1) Children's rhyme:
It was just a bit of luck,
That I was born a baby duck.
With yellow socks and yellow shoes,
So I may go wherever I choose!
quack quack, waddle waddle
quack quack, waddle waddle
Updated version:
Sorry, bud, you're out of luck,
'Cause I am an infected duck.
With yellow socks and yellow shoes,
And I will give you avian flu!
cough cough, waddle waddle
cough cough, waddle waddle

2) Researching today and found this story on Aaron's Shepard's website. A great participation tale to add to your repertoire. It reminds me of the Little Rooster and the Turkish Sultan found in MRM's book Twenty Tellable Tales. Passing this second version along because it just sounds like so much fun.
