old man went to the shore and cried out—
"Little fish, little fish, stand up with thy tail in the
sea and thy head towards me!"
The fish swam up to the shore and asked him what he wanted next.
"Oh, little gold-fish! my old woman is more crazy than ever;
she is tired of being a general's lady and wants to be the Tzaritsa
herself!"
"Don't trouble, my old man, everything shall be done; only
go home and say thy prayers!" answered the gold-fish....
