the Little Children...
Suffer the Little Children to Come Unto Me...
from the New Testament
(Story on the back of the card)
people brought little children to Jesus that he might put his hands
on them and bless them. And his disciples found fault with those
who brought them and would have sent them away. But Jesus was much
displeased with his disciples and said, "Suffer
the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of
such is the kingdom of heaven." He meant
that only those persons who are humble and loving, like little children,
shall come into his kingdom. Then he took the little children up
in his arms and put his hands upon them and blessed them.
